6. Rules of Competitions

The rules which will be used for the competitions are the current ICF rules.

- The first year a competitor can compete in a Junior category is the year that his/her 15th birthday falls in and last year he/she can compete as a junior is the year that his/ her 18th birthday falls in.

- Each country may enter one boat in each event

- The event will be performed when minimum  3 boats from 3 Federations are participate.

7. Course

9 lanes will be used for competitions, when only 9 or less boats are entered, only the final will be performed.

Start: It is equipped with Automatic starting system.

Finish: There will be two set of electronics time keeping with photo finish camera and video recording.

8. Boat Rental

The organizing committee will provide you with enough number of Plastex boats . The boat rent prices are as follows:

K-1, C-1                                   US $     10        per day

K-2, C-2                                   US $     15        per day            

K-4                                          US $     20        per day              

9. Prizes and Certificate

The first three place winners of each event will receive medals and Cetifcates .

10. Accommodation

The organizing committee offers the following hotels with different prices and qualities.

A. Olympic  Hotel

A new building with a fee of(Single room US$ 115 , Double room US$ 85 ,3 bed room US$ 70 ). per day per person including accommodation 3 meals, local transport.

The first priority will be given to those countries that give us prior notice. It takes 5 minutes by walking to the regatta course .

B. The Athletes Dormitory

Good and standard with a fee of US$ 40 per person per day including: accommodation, 3 meals, local transport, the rooms consist 3 and 4 beds and it is located inside of Azadi sport complex and it takes around 5 minutes  by walking to the venue of the competitions.

All delegates who have submitted their flight details will be welcomed at the airport and collected to their hotel.

11. Insurance

All official participants of the championships are strongly advised to take out a medical insurance policy in their respective countries.

12. VISA

All participants are kindly requested to contact the Iran Embassy/High Commission or consulate in their respective countries for visa / entry permit requirements .The organizing Committee needs lists of the participants with necessary information (Preliminary Entry Forms) from national federations as soon as possible.

13. Flag

Please be note that teams must bring a CD or DVD of their own national anthem and flag (100cm x 150cm) as they are necessary for ceremonies.

14.ICF Coaches & Umpires Seminar and Officials Examination

Upon the letter we have received from the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Sprint Committee Chairperson ( Mr Frank Garner)  Iran will be the host for ICF Coaches and Umpires Seminar and official exam take place during the Asian Canoe Championships.
